A practical field studies day for Leaving Certificate Biology students
Join us at Tonnóg Farm for a hands-on field biology workshop exploring key topics from the Leaving Certificate Biology curriculum through real-world investigations and outdoor activities.
Led by a zoologist and university biology lecturer, the day will use the habitats and biodiversity of the farm to explore ecology, biodiversity, genetics, plant biology and scientific investigation skills.
Students will take part in practical field activities, collect and interpret biological data, and develop a deeper understanding of biological concepts beyond the classroom.
